This weekend I was lucky enough to be led into the universe of nature-based therapy by Esben. It was a wonderful few hours where I was reminded that we humans are connected to nature. I also discovered what a beneficial effect it has on the nervous system when you focus on your senses - one by one. Being in nature from a therapeutic approach is clearly recommended. A big thank you to you, Esben, for your inspiring introduction to nature based therapy.

Thank you for a wonderful experience with nature based therapy, it is difficult for me to put the experience into words. I was surprised how I slowed down in a short time. In a physically short time (about 15 minutes), I got into a kind of playful holiday mood. Then there was the exercise of breathing with the trees. It gave me a sense of connectedness with the entire universe, almost like a spiritual experience. Nature and humans, WE belong together and we must stop the destruction of our earth. Drawing the tree – touched me personally in my own development. So thank you.

At the Employee Foundation of the VKR Group, we are focusing more and more on proactive health initiatives for our employees. Daylight and fresh air are part of the DNA of the VKR Group, which is why we have also launched an initiative to develop green areas for outdoor activities and recreation, inspiring people to connect with nature.

Our recent session with Esben from WE ARE NATURE provided valuable insights and innovative ideas on designing effective nature-based programs aimed at enhancing employee well-being. By integrating nature-based therapy into our initiatives, we can establish a strong connection between our focus areas, thereby adding an enriched dimension to employee wellbeing.
